DMCA Policy, Notice, and Takedown Procedure

While we are based in India, we respect and adhere to the principles of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) where relevant.

All users and contributors to MediaMelts.com are expected to respect copyright laws and ensure that any content they upload does not violate the rights of others. Upon receiving a valid notification of claimed copyright infringement, we will promptly investigate and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material after verifying the legitimacy of the claim.

Repeat offenders may face account suspension or termination, irrespective of any liability under Indian or international law.

If content is removed in response to a DMCA notice, MediaMelts.com will make reasonable efforts to notify the content creator and provide them with an opportunity to submit a counter-notification in accordance with Sections 512(g)(2) and 512(g)(3) of the DMCA. We may retain copies of all copyright notices and related correspondence for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.


INFRINGEMENT NOTIFICATION: Submitting a DMCA Notice of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on MediaMelts.com without proper authorization, please send us a formal DMCA notice containing the following information:

  1. Your full contact information, including your name, physical mailing address, telephone number, and a valid email address.

  2. A description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.

  3. The exact URL(s) or specific location on MediaMelts.com where the allegedly infringing material is located.

  4. A statement of good faith declaring that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature.
